Greater Jacksonville Area USO Inc., is a private "Independent Charter" of USO Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. As a private charter, we must raise our own funding to operate 3 Jacksonville-based USO Centers; Naval Air Station Jacksonville USO Center, Naval Station Mayport USO Center (located off base) and the Jacksonville International Airport USO Welcome Center and separate Quiet Room. We are sincerely grateful to our many supporters, businesses/corporations whose generosity contributed to our "Help on the Home Front" initiatives. We ARE a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in good standing. We DO rely soley upon donations from our local community, corporations and foundations. We DO NOT solicit for donations via the U.S. Postal Office. Greater Jacksonville Area USO has operated in the local area since 1979.
